Announcing Donna Cunningham's Writing Courses
for Astrology, New Age, and Self-Help Markets

Do you want to write and know that you have something to say but can’t seem to get going? Have you written pieces but know they must be revised? Are you stalled on a project and want a push to get moving again? Do you need to create informational articles for your web page or to promote your services and you’re stuck? The boost you need for a breakthrough can come from online classes by this experienced author and editor plus the structure and support of a group of fellow students.

An internationally-respected astrologer, Donna Cunningham is the author of 19 books, thousands of articles, and a decade of advice columns. Donna has also edited metaphysical journals since 1984, including ten years of Vibration Magazine, the free online educational quarterly about flower essences. (See the current issue here.) As an editor, her special joy has been to seek out gifted practitioners of the metaphysical arts and guide them in writing about their work.

In 2006, Donna published “So You Want to Write—Techniques and Tips from Miss Prolific, ” an ebooklet sharing what she's learned from 40 years of writing experience. The response to the booklet convinced her that many talented and capable metaphysical professionals want to write but need support and guidance in getting through the process. She now offers online writing seminars in chatroom format to provide a nurturing structure for New Age and self-help professionals to write about their work. Students will receive new materials especially created for these groups. Below are some of the topics the classes explore.

SIX WEEK SEMINAR BEGINNING Saturday, October 4, 2008: In weekly chatroom meetings, Donna will guide participants in breaking through writing barriers and creating at least one short piece. The initial series is limited to eight members, who can range anywhere from beginning writers to New Age or self-help professionals who want to share the knowledge they’ve gained from many years of practice. Donna and fellow students will critique one piece for each student. Topics to be discussed in this seminar include blocks and barriers to writing, fantasies about what writing will do for you, identifying the purpose of your article and the target audience, narrowing a broad subject down to a manageable piece, using the power of intention, crafting a great beginning, researching your topic, and revising to give your writing clarity and impact.

Available this fall will be an eight-week correspondence course for those who can't work online classes into their schedule or who need to move at their own pace. Inquire about the plans here.
